SF Marketing Announces TruAudio’s New SUB Series Subwoofers.
Things That Go “THUMP” In The Night…
TruAudio has replaced their current CS Subwoofer line with the completely redesigned SUB Series. Just looking at these subs gives to impression of a solid, powerful, yet simple product perfect for the demands of today’s audio/video demands.
The newly designed cone is a cellulose composite material which is a material is known for being ridged, stiff, and durable… and is excellent for subwoofers. These new drivers also incorporate large magnets and voice coils which allow for high volumes and deep, rolling bass. Every subwoofer driver is bench tested before being mounted in the cabinet to ensure that it holds up to TruAudio’s strict specifications.
The new amplifiers use a special design featuring heavy-duty transformers to minimize unwanted heat build up, which ensures a long-life for the amplifier. This also means very low distortion and powerful reproduction of music and home theater audio. With this kind of efficiency from an amplifier, you’re guaranteed to get strong and clean bass at any listening level. Each amplifier offers specific power output matched with the specific woofer size for each model. They range from 100 watts to 200 watts.
The cabinets feature two large front-loaded ports located below the woofer. Ports of this size allow for more air to escape the cabinet when the subwoofer is at high volumes. This provides deeper bass and longer life to the subwoofer and amplifier. Since the ports are located on the front of the subwoofer, it can be mounted into cabinetry without sacrificing any performance – this is very important in the “custom” world”. The cabinets feature a light textured finish and smoothly rounded corners which make these subs look more like expensive pieces of furniture.
The SUB Series consists of the models SUB-8, SUB-10 and SUB-12 and are $379.99, $519.99 and $679.99 at retail. The model number designates the driver size and they are powered with internal amps that are 100, 150 and 200 watts respectively. All the subs also feature line level RCA inputs, speaker level, LFE, Auto-On/On/Off selection, and Phase control.
More Boom for the Buck – the TruAudio SUB Series.

SF Marketing Announces TruAudio’s Innovative, Redesigned, & Upgraded R Series
The family continues to grow. TruAudio has replaced their top three InCeiling models for the 6 ½” and 8” categories, and both of their Dual Voice models with the new models called the R Series .
TruAudio has improved the actual speakers by redesigning and enriching the crossovers as well as using completely new woofers. The new Glass Fiber woofer (in the R2 models) is a rich sounding, stiff material that provides extended bass. The upgraded Carbon Fiber woofer (in the top of the line R3 models) is the best of both worlds – smooth, clear midrange and deep, rich bass.
Another very important upgrade is the larger, smoother and high power handling tweeters made from Polypropylene, Aluminum and Titanium. They are mounted on a unique and innovative bridge that allows you to angle the high frequencies towards the listening area without having to push on the actual tweeter – just rotate the bridge where you want it to go.
The R Series also fit into the same cutout as the respective sizes of the current TruAudio models. They range from $459 to $949 a pair so there is a model for almost every application and budget. Full specifications are available at www.truaudio.com
Equally as important is that ALL the new models come STANDARD with the innovative new EZ Frame which allows you to install or remove a grill in seconds. No more fumbling around trying to tuck the grill into one side, then working around hoping to get the grill in (or out) without bending it. Magnets that are embedded in the frame hold the grill assembly securely in place.
The speakers with the EZFrame consist of two main pieces; the main speaker and the grill assembly. The grill assembly, which is Aluminum to prevent rusting, consists of the grill and an outside baffle (the edge of the speaker that is exposed to the room). The main speaker is installed like a typical InCeiling speaker. To install the grill, simply place it up near the speaker, line up the magnets and put it in place. The one piece frame and grill to make for easy painting or replacing (away from the jobsite if needed - the contractors can’t paint over it if it is not there…). The EZFrame is also sold separately for easy stocking, there no paint shield needed, and it greatly cuts down on labor costs.
Higher Performance, Upgraded Materials, ‘EZier’ Installations, More Value – the TruAudio R Series . TruAudio products are available exclusively in Canada from SF Marketing

SF Marketing Inc. Announces SE Models from Shure
Shure Achieves Audio and Design Nirvana with the Debut of its New Sound Isolating™ Earphone Line
At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Shure Incorporated unveiled four new models of Sound Isolating™ Earphones representing the next generation of premium audio accessories. When Shure first launched its E Series Earphones – a family of products that brought professional audio performance to consumers – high fidelity portable audio was born. Never ceasing to innovate, the company is introducing a new line of earphones that builds on everything that is great about its predecessor, while offering consumers a number of unique new attributes including new sound signatures, modularity, style and improved ergonomics.
Acclaimed producer Mike Fraser, who has worked with artists like AC/DC, Metallica, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and Rush, listened to the new flagship in the line and summed up the experience by asking, “Who knew such a big sound could come out of such a small earphone?” He went on to say, “ When mixing, it’s critical that I listen to my mixes through different sources. The Shure earphones are an excellent reference tool because they deliver such pure sound. ”
The new Shure Sound Isolating Earphones remain true to Shure’s 81-year history in the professional audio business with each earphone delivering a unique acoustic sound signature that addresses individual listening preferences. Incorporating balanced armature drivers that are compact in size but not in sound, Shure’s newest earphones offer an ever-wider frequency range and increased detail as one moves up in the line. Contributing to the sound quality and the comfort, the earphone housings are all based on years of customer feedback as to what shapes and sizes deliver the most optimal listening experience.
“I love these earphones. The sound is so clear it's like I'm in a recording studio,” commented Joss Stone, Grammy®-nominated artist, of her SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones (formerly model E500).
The first company to deliver an entire line of consumer earphones equipped with modular capabilities, Shure is also giving consumers something that they’ve been missing in their listening experiences: boundless options to personalize their portable devices. Introduced in 2006, Shure’s Push-To-Hear (PTH) inline accessory is the first example of the company’s pioneering efforts in modularity which will create a whole new realm of interactive and customized personal audio accessories. Other accessories include a 9” (23cm) cable that when added to the standard length of 18” (45cm) creates 27” (68cm) of cable, an ideal length for lanyard MP3 players or armbands used during exercise.
