Shure's I Series Integrated Sound Isolating™ Earphones Named "Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Showcase" Honoree for 2006 International CES
Shure Incorporated announced at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Press Preview that it has been named an "Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Showcase" honoree by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) for its I Series Integrated Sound Isolating™ Earphones. All Innovations honorees will present their nominated products for display at the Innovations 2006 Showcase (booth #72444) Innovations Plus exhibit at the Sands Expo and Convention Center during the 2006 International CES, January 5-8, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV.
An honoree in the "Audio Accessories" category, the I Series is a hybrid headset and earphone product line that eliminates the need to carry two accessories for a portable audio player and a cellular phone. The latest addition to Shure's highly acclaimed family of personal audio accessories, the I Series marries Shure's E Series Sound Isolating Earphones with the noise canceling microphone used in the company's QuietSpot Mobile Headset to provide the industry's first premium attachment to work with a cell phone, digital music player, or convergence device.
Shure's E4c was an Innovation Award Honoree in 2005 and the company has received numerous industry accolades since introducing its consumer audio products in 2002. "Receiving back-to-back honors by the CES and IDSA is incredibly rewarding. It validates our vision and underscores that the products Shure is bringing to market are of high user value, contribute to the improvement of consumers' lifestyles and are beautifully designed," said Mark Karnes, general manager of the Personal Audio Business Unit, Shure, Inc. "The Innovation Award is a coveted mark of distinction in the CE industry and we couldn't be more excited to have the I Series join the E Series as a recipient."
Shure's I Series is featured among the best products in design and engineering in 27 categories at the International CES Innovations 2006. Product evaluations are based on weighted criteria, including value to users, aesthetics, and contribution to the quality of life, as well as the products' innovative qualities and overall excellence.
About the I Series
Offered in three different models - the i2c, i3c and i4c - the I Series is available in two versions - a dual connector for attachment to mobile phones and portable audio players, or with a single connector for use with the PalmOne Treo™650. In either version, Shure's I Series enables consumers to alternate between total audio immersion and complete voice connection with one compact accessory.

SF Moves into New Premises !
When S.F. Marketing acquired its present building in Ville St. Laurent in 1991, the management believed that they would not need to move for at least 25 years. But lo and behold, due to a sizeable and continued growth in business, a change in plans was in order! As of November 2005, S.F Marketing will be moving into its new headquarters near Pierre Trudeau airport in Dorval, nearly tripling its current space.
According to Jean-Louis Blanchard, Vice-President of Sales at SF, “Our new facility will obviously improve our operations such that our current level of excellent customer service will reach new heights. A much bigger warehouse with improved processes and logistics will enable us to move more product, faster and more efficiently.”
With regards to customer service, SF management will be implementing a detailed and extensive plan to ensure a smooth continuity for customers during the move. As underlined by Sol Fleising, SF’s President, “Small quirks are to be expected here and there for a couple of days but we know our clients will understand the situation.
