After earning an MBA in Marketing and Finance, Sol set out to explore the planet. During an 80-day, around-the-world trip in 1978, he found himself on a beach in Goa, India, learning to play the flute. Back in Montreal, studying flute at McGill University, Sol was at home in the music industry, which lead to the founding of SF Marketing Inc. He has been a driving force in professional audio distribution in Canada ever since.

Michael L. Vineberg - Chief Operating Officer

Michael is responsible for managing the continued rapid and profitable growth of SF Marketing. A former Management Consultant in business strategy, operations management and performance improvement, Michael has held a variety of executive positions within both the manufacturing and distribution sectors. A native Montrealer, Michael is married with a growing family, is an avid golfer and skiier and is active in a variety of non-profit initiatives in Montreal and abroad. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from McGill University, a MBA from HEC Montreal and the designation of Professional Logistician (P.Log) from the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute.

Jeff Sazant - Vice President, Musical Instrument Division

Jeff has been in the music products industry for over 30 years, having managed both Canadas and United States highest profile music stores. He was the founding General Manager of Steves Musics Toronto location in 1977, and led that store to prominence. In 1997, he accepted the challenge of becoming the General Manager of Guitar Centers flagship store in Hollywood, California. He managed that location for 4 years, and brought his unique brand of Customer Service to Guitar Centers Hollywood. He moved cross-country at the companys request to guide Guitar Center Miamis location to improved performance. After 30 years of retail success, Jeff turns his attention to the wholesale side of the industry.
Jeffs industry affiliations include serving on the NAMM board of directors from 1990-1993, as well as a current member of the MIAC advisory board, and Humber College advisory board. His wealth of experience in the music products industry will be instrumental in launching S.F. Marketings entry into the MI distribution business. |
