ANTARI Hazer HZ-500

Antari is proud to unveil the newest member to the Haze machines lineup, the HZ-500. Legendary to Antari Hazers, these machines create the best ambient haze to enhance the beams from any projection light fixtures, especially laser equipments . Antari’s Hazer machines produce safe, dry, clean, and virtually invisible haze therefore making them the ideal choice for concert tours, stage productions and large clubs, with a prolific haze output of 3,000 cubic feet/minute.  Despite its powerful output, the HZ-500 operates quietly with a noise level of under 70dB at a 10cm distance, making it ideal for situations where low noise is desired; such as stage production. What’s even more, it is easy to maintain and consumes relatively little haze liquid, while offering exceptional performance.

LEPRECON – Wireless ULD & LDS Dimmers

Leprecon has gone wireless! With the help of Wireless Solutions, the ULD and LDS series dimmers can now receive DMX-512 wirelessly. Now the industry leaders in tree-mount dimming and wireless DMX bring you a portable dimmer with more features and reliability than anything on the marke t. With the wireless receiver built-in to the ULD or LDS dimmers, users can now conveniently and reliably control up to 512 channels of DMX. The receiver comes standard with 2dBi antenna, an LED indicator for Power and DMX presence. LUMI – New LED Wall Washers

The LUMI LED-700 is an energy saving RGB LED based wash fixture that incorporates 36 1W high power LEDs for a maximum power consumption of 48W. It can be operated in standalone, master slave with built in pre-programmed effects or directly with a standard DMX consol e. The waterproof push button digital display allows for quick and easy addressing of fixtures and to select mode of operation. For added versatility, the head of the fixture is adjustable to the angle or position that provides the maximum lighting effect. The LED-700 produces true 24 bit color changing effects making them an ideal energy saving solution for architectural and decorative lighting.

SGM – The Revolutionary Giotto Digital 1500

Giotto Digital 1500 is a real miracle of technology and design. Key feature is the revolutionary introduction of the Digital Module which uses a clever application of DL P. Technology from Texas Instruments enables the Giotto to project graphic effects with the brightness and speed of professional moving head fixtures. Giotto Digital 1500 is the first and only moving head fixture on the market able to create all-digital, completely customizable graphic effects, finally overcoming the typical limits of effects generated by traditional gobo patterns, iris, beam shapers and zoom components.

The Giotto 1500 series is a whole new range of 'super bright' moving heads for production, stage and touring. Designed as a versatile and modular range which includes Spot, Wash and Profile variants, the pinnacle version centers on a unit fitted with the High Tech 'Digital' module.
Using a DLP chip and built-in media server, the Digital module holds 500 'digital gobos' - 250 held as *.bmp picture format plus 250 held as *.avi animated clips. In just a few shows that require custom gobos, the Digital Giotto 1500 will pay for itself. Saving on both the gobo cost and technician loading time really adds up quickly.

The Digital module provides all the other features normally provided by stepper motors and other mechanics, including, gobo rotation, shutter blades, iris, gobo morphing as well as adding digital zoom and instant gobo change.

WDMX – Indoor Transmitters & Receivers

The W-DMX BlackBox range of Transmitters and Receivers represent the pinnacle of wireless engineering excellence applied to the control of lighting systems. These models offer simple setup and reliable operation for greater freedom in creating reliable point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and even multipoint-to-multipoint installations over large distances . All BlackBox range of Transmitters and Receivers are housed within tough diecast aluminum casings.

Rather than using fixed frequency channels, W-DMX uses adaptive frequency hopping technology (as well as TDMA and GFSK techniques) to continually check for interference and to rapidly move operation over to clear radio channels. The frequency hops occur one thousand times every second to ensure smooth, efficient and robust operation.

MARINCO – New Clamp-Lock Technology

The new Clamp-Lock system from Marinco is an innovative way to terminate electrical devices for faster assembly and to ensure a reliable, maintenance-free connection compared to conventional screw termination systems. What’s more, the new system eliminates creep resulting from cold-flow of the strands in stranded wire and eliminates terminal self-loosening resulting from heat, shock or vibration.

The patented Marinco design utilizes color-coded cam levers to open and close windows that accept the conductors. There is no need to insert a tool into the device and re-torquing is not required because the device provides consistent clamping force. Assemblers open the levers, insert the stripped conductors and close the levers. The connection is complete!

1. Clamp-Lock termination actually tightens when the cable is pulled

SGM X-Line Series

W-DMX - S-2 Dual Universe Transmitter

Wireless Solution Sweden AB introduces the W-DMX BlackBox S-2 series, the first dual universe transmitter.

Designed with the rental and production markets in mind, the S-2 offers both easy and reliable operation. Two push buttons on the new front allow operation of universes 1 & 2 along with two DMX inputs both accepting full frame / full refresh DMX. Minimal cabling requirements and multiple power input options are designed so the transmitter can be easily incorporated into new and existing installations. The unit is plug and play and provides interference-free operation. S -2 series will be available as of March 2008.

W-DMX technology uses Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and uses Adaptive Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (AFHSS) to avoid interference.
