Cleartone Brand Guitar Strings is a product of the Everly Music Company – a guitar and bass string manufacturer, based in Burbank, CA. Founded by Phil Everly, of the famed 60’s duo the Everly Brothers, the company is dedicated to producing innovative solutions for the active musician. Everly Music Company was one of the first innovators of guitar strings designed for drop tuning, longer lasting guitar strings and guitar picks with grip.

Cleartone offers very high quality acoustic and electric guitar strings with an EMP (Enhanced Molecular Protection) treatment designed to effectively incorporate pure, natural guitar string tone with the same long tonal property of coated strings. EMP helps prolong tonal life without sacrificing feel or sound.  At one micron thin, it is up to one thousand times thinner than coated strings.  EMP bonds to the molecules in the metal so during hard strumming it doesn’t feel slippery and never flakes off. In fact, EMP treated strings last as long or longer than (up to 3-5 times the string life) any other string brand on the market, but feel and sound like an uncoated set. This gives players exactly what they’ve always wanted - killer tone with an incredible lifespan.
