TALKBOX

Acoustical STI-PA Reference Loudspeaker/ Generator. Used to generate the reference signal when taking STI-PA measurements. Each Talkbox is individually equalized at the factory to guarantee the highest precision source signal. Talkbox outputs a reference signal at 60 dBA at 1 meter according to IEC60628-16 standard. Talkbox also outputs a reference signal to synchronize the analyzer. Dimensions are 150 x 150 x 175 mm (5.9 x 5.9 x 6.9 inches), weighs 3 kg.

DL-1

DL-1 Digilyzer®. Provides a comprehensive set of analysis functions for digital audio and video related audio signals. All commonly standardized sampling frequencies up to 96 kHz are handled in consumer and professional formats.

DL-1-MINILINK

DL-1 with MiniLink pre-installed.

MINILINK

USB interface for the ML-1 and DL-1. Includes USB interface board for one instrument, MiniLINK PC software, firmware upgrade for ML-1/DL-1 (only available in conjunction with MiniLINK), USB cable.

MINILINK-SLAVE

USB interface for additional ML-1 Minilyzers and DL-1 Digilyzers.

ML-1

Minilyzer®. Powerful analog audio analyzer. Accepts signals either at the balanced XLR or the unbalanced RCA input. It provides a comprehensive set of analysis functions: LEVEL, THD+N, VU & PPM Metering, Balance Meter, Speaker Polarity Testing, 1/3-octave Analysis and Scope functionality. Starting with firmware 2.00 the SPL functionality is included allowing to measure Instantaneous Sound Pressure Level (Lp), max/min. Sound Pressure Level, Integrated Level Equipment (Leq) with standard frequency weighting filters (A, C and Normal) and time response modes (Fast, Slow and Impulse). ML-1 runs by three 1.5V type batteries (not included).

MR-1

MR-1 Minirator®. Powerful, battery-powered analog audio generator. Provides low distortion, sine wave, square wave, polarity test signal, white & pink noise. Levels are adjustable in 2dB steps, frequency adjustable in 1/3-octave steps from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Operates with two 1.5V type batteries.

MR-2

MR-2 Minirator is a powerful audio generator, offering a full range of useful analog test signals for calibration, maintenance and repair of professional audio equipment. The rotary settings wheel combined with surrounding fast access function keys enables instant and intuitive operation without compromising fine adjustment capabilities. Instrument operation is further enhanced with a backlit LCD, illuminated mute button, safety hand strap, jack for external DC power supply and an USB interface for firmware updates.

MR-PRO

The MR-PRO is an extremely powerful analog audio generator to satisfy every need for the professional engineer. Proprietary user wave forms may be loaded via USB into the internal flash memory. Innovative and unique technology includes continuous monitoring of the impedance of the connected load, the signal balance and the phantom power. Plus the integrated cable testing promotes MR-PRO to the level of a cable analyzer, simplifying trouble shooting tasks. MR-PRO includes all functions of the MR-2 Minirator.

DIGITAL-SET

Set includes DL-1-MINILINK, D-L1-TRANSFORMER and SYSTEM-CASE.

ACOUSTICS-SET-PRO

Set includes AL1 Acoustilyzer™, MiniSPL microphone, test CD, MR-PRO Minirator, MR-PRO power supply, cable test plug and SYSTEM-CASE.

ANALOG-SET-PRO

DL-1-TRANSFORMER

Enables the measurement of the AES3 75ø standard with DL-1.

MINISPL

Battery-powered 1/2" microphone, class 2. Accessory to the ML-1 for acoustic measurements. It complements its function forming a comprehensive Sound Level Meter.

ML-1-ADAPTOR

Passive adaptor extends the XLR input range of the ML-1 up to +40dBu. Ideal to connect power output stages of amplifiers. Accuracy 0.1% balanced to balanced.

ML-1/DL-1-POUCH

Very robust textile pouch with a lockable latch allowing the pouch to mount without opening the belt. The protective top flap is equipped with velcro fastener ensuring the ML-1 or DL-1 never gets lost. Packed in plastic bags.

MR-1-POUCH

Robust textile pouch with a metallic belt clip and a latch with velcro fastener. A must for portable use of MR-1.

MR-2/PRO-POUCH

Robust textile pouch with a metallic belt clip and a latch with velcro fastener. A must for portable use of MR-PRO and MR-2.

MR-PRO-CABLE-TEST

The cable test adaptor is used for single-ended cable testing. When you do not have access to the far end of a cable to loop back into the MR-PRO (e.g. cable is installed in a building), install the cable test adaptor at the far end of the cable, the MR-PRO will be able to complete its cable test procedure and display cable condition.

MR-2/PRO-PSU

Linear mains power adaptor for the Minirator MR-PRO / MR-2. NTI strongly recommends not to use alternative switched mode types.

SYSTEM-CASE

Very robust hard case with cutouts for instruments MR-1, ML-1, and MINISPL with additional compartments for adaptors, cables and batteries. It allows you to complement the case with locally made adaptors, cables and accessories.

Firmware for MR2
and MR-PRO

A new firmware for MR2 and MR-PRO is available for download.

The new release offers
. An improved chirp signal quality with maximum +/- 0.2dB ripple.
. The MR-PRO impedance measurement range is extended down to 30Hz.
. MR-PRO users may load different types of wave files, e.g. stereo data, into the internal flash memory.

The firmware update process is handled by the MR-Update software. It only requires a PC with USB interface and internet access.
