QSC Audio Products, Inc. is a globally recognized leader
in audio manufacturing of power amplifiers and control
systems.
On a hot, summer day more than 30 years ago, Barry Andrews'
motorcycle broke down in an industrial park in Costa Mesa,
Calif. While waiting for a friend to pick him up, Barry
struck up a conversation with a guy working in a nearby
garage. His name was Pat Quilter.
Pat talked about his fledging business - designing and
building various types of amplifiers. Barry, who worked
as a cabinet woodworker at the time, had experience building
speaker cabinets. Eventually, Pat decided he needed some
extra help building wood audio cabinets.
It was a move that laid the foundation for a company
that would become the world's largest manufacturer of
professional power amplifiers. Pat Quilter's small company,
Quilter Sound Company, would eventually be incorporated
as QSC Audio Products, Inc. and become a major player
in the professional audio industry.

QSC products have a reputation for quality, innovation
and reliability. Exceptionally high value of QSCs
products is achieved through developing leading technologies,
world-class manufacturing techniques, and the purchasing
power possible as the world's leading amplifier producer.
While QSC continues to set the standard for amplifier
technology, the company has also made significant strides
in computer control, digital signal processing and signal
transport. QSControl, a remote audio monitoring system
application, has proven its performance in systems worldwide.
QSC changed the face of amplifier technology with the
introduction of QSC's exclusive PowerWave(TM) switching
power supply, a technological advance that makes heavy,
bulky and inefficient amplifiers a thing of the past.
PowerWave(TM), first incorporated into the revolutionary
PowerLight Series and now used in three other amplifier
lines, is proof that high power can be achieved in small,
lightweight packages.
